Develop a bespoke Operations Diary for the Operations Manager to assist with weekly resource planning.

Design bespoke reports in MS Access for the management team for output from Sage Construct and locally developed MS Access databases.


January 2007 to April 2007 - Clarity and Open Workbench Consultant, Capgemini ASPIRE (HMRC) Worthing, Basingstoke and Telford.

Provide consultancy services, one to one training and mentoring to Project / Programme Managers and PMO staff after the roll-out of Clarity and Open Workbench at CapGemini ASPIRE on their HMRC outsourcing account at several sites in the south of England.

1988 - 1992 - Planning Engineer, Aircraft Engineering Squadron, RAF Brize Norton

Member of a 5-man development team dedicated to the successful introduction an integrated management package for VC10 aircraft undergoing schedule maintenance and structural repair with the Royal Air Force, with specific responsibility for drafting a 1,200-activity high level network drawing using QEI software.

Critical path analysis and resource scheduling of work packages for over 160 employees and line managers of differing trades and updating of the 5,500 activity low level project using INTANET software, liaising with the tradesmen and Civilian Contractors Working Party.

Create relational database files and vocabulary statements in PRIME INFORMATION.

Create front-end management system for planning staff allowing greatly reduced turn round times of reports and data transfers.


1970 - 1988 - Aircraft Technician (Airframe), Various locations with the Royal Air Force

Supervise various aircraft engineering tasks that have included component and structural repair, replacement and adjustment of large critical items and repair overhaul and replacement of passenger cabin trim, galleys and service units with small dedicated teams. Cleaning and preparatory work to aircraft component parts prior to NDT and inspection, and a small test and maintenance facility for Gaseous and Liquid Oxygen components.

Assume responsibility for and control of inventories of specialised technical equipment, tools and office furniture as a secondary duty whilst carrying out the supervisory posts detailed above.

Close tolerance measurement and inspection of aircraft component piece parts during overhaul and refurbishment using electronic and mechanical measuring and comparison equipment.

Carry out scheduled maintenance and structural repairs to various military, civil aircraft and complete refurbishment of gliders with wooden airframes.
